CURRENT TEAMS
1. Primary - Schoolaerobics, Open B
Compulsories: jumping jacks, high kicks, push ups and straddle sit.
Similar to Secondary Aerobics, however with more sports aerobics specific skills required. e.g. presses, jumps, as well as flexibility score through high kicks, straddle sit, lateral kicks, etc.
2. Secondary - Schoolaerobics, Secondary Aerobics
Compulsories: jumping jacks, high kicks, push ups and straddle sit
Based on choreography with no scores directly related to flexibility and strength. Aerobic intensity and execution are of upmost importance to score well in this section
3. Secondary - Schoolaerobics, Open B
Compulsories: jacks, high kicks, push ups and straddle sit
Similar to Secondary Aerobics, however with more sports aerobics specific skills required. e.g. presses, jumps, as well as flexibility score through high kicks, straddle sit, lateral kicks, etc.
4. FISAF - Fitness Teams
Compulsories: No compulsory moves, no real restrictions.
Aim is to have the team working at a high cardio rate throughout the routine.
One routine of 2 minutes with a grace period of +/- 5 seconds using aerobic music with a discernable BPM, which is the baseline of Fitness Aerobics. Competitors should take care to avoid any movement that risks injury to a team member.
